PRAVEX BANK, part of the European financial group Intesa Sanpaolo, has expanded its network of Tax Free refund points with a new location in Kyiv. The service, which allows travelers to get a refund of up to 20% on purchases made abroad, is now also available at the Bank’s Pechersk branch.
What is Tax Free?
The service enables travelers to receive a refund of the value-added tax (VAT) paid in the country where their purchases were made. This is a real opportunity to save money while traveling, as the refund amount depends on the specific VAT rate in each country.

As of today, purchase refunds are available at six branches:
- Kyiv – Podil branch, 32 Verkhnii Val St.
- Kyiv – Pechersk branch, 3 A. Verkhogliada St.
- Lviv – 15 Valova St.
- Uzhhorod – 2 Kyivska naberezhna St.
- Odesa – 77 Pushkinska St.
- Dnipro – 59 Shevchenka St.
The Tax Free service at PRAVEX BANK is implemented in partnership with Global Blue, the world's largest operator in this field. To receive your refund, simply visit one of the Bank's branches and provide the receipts and documents confirming your purchases abroad.
