PRAVEX BANK held the fifth corporate Donor Day

PRAVEX BANK successfully held the fifth corporate Donor Day at the Bank's head office, organizing the event together with the mobile team of the Kyiv City Blood Center. This initiative is aimed at developing a culture of systematic donation and raising awareness of the importance of donation as one of the most effective ways to save lives.

This time, the event was held for the second time in a year and brought together 37 participants, including both experienced donors and newcomers who decided to join this noble cause for the first time.

Each time, not only PRAVEX BANK employees, but also representatives of partner organizations, clients and friends of the Bank join the Donor Day. This time, together with the Bank's employees, Oleksiy Sukhanov, a well-known journalist and TV presenter, donated blood.

“The fifth corporate Donor Day is special because we could not imagine that this project would become so popular. However, today, when employees become donors for the fifth time, we see what an important thing we are doing together,” said Anna Klymenko, PRAVEX BANK's event management manager. She also thanked all the participants for their support and contribution to the development of the project.

As a result of the fifth event, 17 liters of blood were donated for the needs of the Kyiv City Blood Center. In total, over the two years of the initiative's existence, more than 180 PRAVEX BANK employees have donated 90 liters of blood. Such initiatives contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and comply with the ESG principles that guide the Bank in implementing its own development strategy.

We would like to remind you that one blood donation can save the lives of three people. Each donor gives a chance for salvation.

In May 2023, PRAVEX BANK, a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Banking Group, joined the UN Global Compact. The bank has committed to adhere to the thirteen goals of the UN Global Compact in four areas: human rights, labor relations, environmental protection and anti-corruption.
