Partial approval

PRAVEX BANK customers who hold Mastercard® cards now have access to the new payment service “Partial approval”.

This service allows users to combine different payment methods within a single purchase. If there are insufficient funds on the bank card to complete the payment, clients can immediately pay the remaining amount using another payment card or cash, without interrupting the purchase or splitting it into two separate transactions.

On what PRAVEX BANK cards the partial approval service is available?

The service is available with Mastercard and Visa.

Where you can use the Partial approval service?

As of 20.05.2024, the service is already available in OKKO and WOG gas stations. In addition, clients can utilize this service when transferring money from card to card on the iPay.ua website.

How does the Partial approval service work?

You pay for the purchase by PRAVEX BANK card in the network of partners where the service is available.

If the balance on the card is less than the purchase amount, the cashier at the terminal displays information about the possibility to use the service, the cashier voices the available amount for payment and offers to pay the balance in another way.

You pay the difference in the chosen way - any other card or cash.

If you do not want to pay the remaining amount, you can complete the purchase for the amount actually confirmed by the bank (voiced by the cashier), limiting yourself to only a part of the goods or cancel the transaction.

Is there an amount limit for the Partial approval service?

The service is available only if you have a balance in your account that is greater than 50% of the amount by which you are trying to make a purchase. That is, if you buy goods in the amount of 1000 UAH, and you have 300 UAH available on your account, then the service will not be available for use.
