In order to receive money transfer via Western Union system You need to:

Visit the closest branch of PRAVEX BANK, inform Western Union’s operator on the necessary transfer data (control number, who sent the transfer, country and city of the transfer sending, amount and currency of the transfer).

Present a passport or a document that substitutes the passport to Western Union’s operator.

Receive money and a client’s copy of the form “For receiving payment”.

Transfers within Ukraine to the accounts of businesses and individuals

Transfers across Ukraine to accounts of legal entities  and individuals 

Transfers in national currency to current accounts of individuals opened  in the other banks of Ukraine. 

In order to make a transfer a sender is required to know the payment details of a recipient of funds:

surname, first name, patronymic name;

identification number;

current account number, MFO code and a name of the bank in which the account is opened. 

Transfers in national currency to card accounts of individuals opened in  other the banks of Ukraine. 

In order to make a transfer a sender is required to know the payment details of a recipient of funds:

surname, first name, patronymic name;

identification code of the bank;

number (of transit, correspondent and etc.) account used by receiving bank with a view of crediting funds to the card accounts;

MFO code and a name of the bank in which the card account is opened;

a number of technical account and name of the card.

In order to make transfers to the current and card accounts an account is not required to be opened for a sender.

While making transfers in the amount exceeding UAH 50,000, sender shall have a passport or document substituting for it on hand, as well as original certificate of assignment of a taxpayer identification number.

Transfers under SWIFT system

If you need to make a transfer abroad to the account of individual or legal entity, you can use a service of transferring currency via correspondent accounts under SWIFT system.

A transfer can be made both from a current account and without its existence with a view of paying for transactions not related to entrepreneurial activity.  

According to the orders of individuals transfers of foreign currency shall be made across the border of Ukraine under current currency non-commercial  transactions:

  1. without  confirming documents from  the current account in foreign currency or without opening such – in the amount not exceeding equivalent of UAH 400,000 per one transaction (working) day. Information on the purpose of the purchase, transfer and documents on the basis of which the purchase is made, transfer to the beneficiary of funds in foreign currency/UAH and/or bank metals shall be indicated in the application for purchase in foreign currency and/or payment order. These requirements do not apply to foreign exchange transactions in the presence of signs of fragmentation of the set of related relevant financial transactions. The Bank has the right to request from the client additional documents related to foreign exchange transactions. The Client is obliged to submit such documents to the Bank in case the Bank requests documents related to foreign exchange transactions.
  2. From a current account in foreign currency – in the amount exceeding equivalent of UAH 400,000. Resident and non-resident individuals make such transfers solely on the basis of documents confirming the purpose of the transfer and the source of funds.

Transfers of individuals under current non-commercial  transactions include the following ones: 

а) for paying of costs of foreign judicial, investigatory, notarial and other competent authorities (including settlement of taxes, charges, other mandatory payments), costs of foreign attorneys in case of initiation of proceedings abroad where an individual acts as either plaintiff or defendant;  

b) for paying of treatment costs in medical institutions of another country, as well as for paying of costs of transportation of ill persons;

c) for paying of costs of study and traineeship in educational institutions of another state, of costs of taking tests and exams, etc.;

d) for paying for participation in international symposiums, workshops, conferences, congresses, exhibitions, fairs, cultural and sports events as well as in other international meetings taking place in the territories of foreign countries;

e) for paying of costs for purchasing literature and subscription-based publications being issued abroad;

f) for paying of charges (duties) for the actions related to protection of intellectual property items including paying for services provided by patent offices of other countries and for services of patent attorneys abroad;

g) for paying of costs related to death of citizens abroad (transportation costs and funeral costs);

h) for paying of costs under agreements (insurance policies, certificates) on life insurance concluded with non-residents subject to availability of individual licence of the National Bank of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as ‘the National Bank’) obtained in the order established by the National Bank;

i) for paying for products, works, services, intellectual property rights obtained from non-residents abroad for own use;

j) for paying of admission fees, membership fees to international organizations;

k) payments in connection with acceptance of an inheritance;

l) in case of moving abroad to a place of permanent residence;

m) related to payment for work, of scholarships, pensions, alimony, government aid, material allowance, allowance of relatives, charity support and humanitarian aid, pay-outs and compensations, including pay-outs of compensation for harm inflicted upon workers in result of mutilation, occupational disease or other health injury related to performance by them of their employment duties, pay-outs to victims of political repressions, Nazi persecutions, to members of their families and heirs, of reimbursements under insured events, premiums, prizes, inherited funds, funds under gift agreements, funds saved on accounts and profits thereunder

n) with regard to paying of copyright royalties, premiums, prizes and other pay-outs for usage of intellectual property items of individuals;

o) on the basis of verdicts, decisions, rulings and resolutions of judicial, investigatory and other law enforcement authorities.

Specified requirements to limitation of transfer’s  amount do not cover: 

paying of treatment costs in medical institutions of another state, as well as of costs of transportation of ill persons;

paying of costs related to death of citizens abroad (transportation costs and funeral costs);

transfers made under verdicts, decisions, rulings and resolutions of judicial, investigatory and other law enforcement authorities;

paying of costs for study exclusively with a view of paying for academic activity;

transfer of funds received as labor remuneration by non-residents in Ukraine, pensions, alimony;

paying of costs of foreign judicial, investigatory, notarial and other competent authorities (including settlement of taxes, charges, other mandatory payments);

transfers made by citizens in case of moving abroad to a place of permanent residence;

non-cash settlements made with the use of electronic means of payment for paying for products and services for own use by individuals; 

In order to make a transfer you need to know the exact details of recipient of transfer (name of receiving bank, its location (country and city – in all cases), SWIFT-code of receiving bank, number of recipient’s account, recipient’s name (for individual – surname, name, patronymic name (if available) and his/her location/residence (if such information is available)), bring with you a passport (or a passport substitute document), identification number (if opening of account is required when making a transfer) and confirming documents in case of need.

 If you are a non-resident of Ukraine, you shall also have documents confirming origin of currency in cash in the territory of Ukraine.

Without opening of current account an individual can receive within one transaction (working) day a transfer from abroad in amount not exceeding UAH 150,000 (a transfer shall be compliant with effective currency legislation of Ukraine).

Crediting to the current accounts of resident and non-resident individuals of the transfers from abroad is done without limitation in amount (transfers shall be compliant with effective legislation of Ukraine).

Look at the rates  for sending and paying out SWIFT-transfers 

In order to receive  a transfer without opening of current account of individual (i.e. transfers pay-outs according to SWIFT-message indicating recipient’s data: surname, name, series and number of passport or of a passport substitute document), You are required to visit any branch of our bank taking along the passport (or passport substitute document) and obtain details for receiving transfer from abroad via correspondent accounts.   

Payment order in foreign currency or banking metals (used in case of transfers of the foreign currency by individuals not carrying out entrepreneurial activity across the territory of Ukraine and abroad from a current account).

All disputes between the participants of the money transfer system are resolved through negotiations, as well as in court accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.

developed jointly with Intesa SanPaolo on the basis that a great number of Ukrainians work in Italy and send monetary support to their relatives to Ukraine.  

A main advantage of this type of transfers is rates  for making transfers since they are significantly smaller than rates of other  international money transfer systems.

Express to family – international money transfers within the frame of Italia – Ukraine corridor (only in one direction) not connected with carrying out entrepreneurial activity.

Currency of transfer – EUR.

Minimal amount of transfer - unlimited, maximal amount of transfer – EUR 999.99.

Transfers can be paid out:

in cash at the bank’s branch without opening of current account (in case when a sender of funds specified a surname, first name of a recipient and series, number of a passport (or of a passport substitute document);

to the current account (in case when recipient is a client of the bank, has an opened current account and a sender of funds indicated a surname, first name of recipient and a number of his/her current account). 

In order to send transfer a sender is  required to indicate in all cases:  

surname, first name of recipient of a transfer;

a number of current account of recipient of transfer or series and number of the passport (or of a passport substitute document);

The sender is also recommended to specify the name of the branch of “PRAVEX BANK” JSC where the recipient would like to receive the transfer (this is in relation to the transfers being paid out without opening of current account).

In order to receive transfer a recipient is required to present:

a passport or a passport substitute document;

documents necessary for opening of current account in case of need for recipient to open a current account (if the amount of received transfers exceeds legal limitations on paying out transfers without opening of current account or if there is a requirement in force with regard to mandatory sale of foreign currency on Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange).

This service allows to perform transactions of transferring non-cash monetary funds in national currency between holders of payment cards issued by PRAVEX BANK.

The service can be used in all ATMs of PRAVEX BANK on the entire territory of Ukraine.

A transfer of monetary funds is made in on-line mode (instantaneously).

The service allows for performing transactions of transferring non-cash funds from one card of individual to the other one. The transfer can be made only between PRAVEX BANK cards. Crediting of transferred funds is done in on-line mode within several minutes after an ATM transaction have been performed. At the request of a client the ATM will issue a receipt confirming the transfer.*
