WESTERN UNION cuts rates again, and PRAVEX-BANK’s customers can now get cheaper money transfers

Money transfers in roubles and US dollars from Russia to Ukraine via Western Union system became more accessible

Western Union, one of world leaders in the sphere of money transfers, declares rates decrease for money transfers exceeding 15,000 roubles or 600 US dollars from Russia to Ukraine.

In both rate schedules transfer amounts range was significantly enlarged, that is why it is now more advantageous to send transfers starting from RUR 20,000 or USD 800. If previously fees for transfer from Russia to Ukraine for the amount ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 amounted depending on the range to 800, 1,000 or 1,250 roubles, now with range enlargement it is possible to send the amount from 15,000 to 37,500 having paid only 650 roubles. And fee for transfer is paid once as it was before: it is paid by the sender.

"As our marketing researches show, CIS countries still remain one of the most called-for and competitive direction on Russian money transfers market. At this, average amount of money being sent from Russia to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine significantly exceeds the amount of transfers being sent to other CIS countries. We hope new rates will allow to enlarge our customers' capabilities for whom transferred money means a chance to help their relatives living in these countries", — declared Jonathan Knaus, regional vice-president of Western Union in Russian and CIS countries.

Previously, on December 17, 2007, the company decreased rates on money transfer delivering from Ukraine to CIS countries (including to Russia).

Rates decrease will allow to enlarge the portion of sent and paid transfers in JSCB "PRAVEX-BANK" in one of main corridors Russia-Ukraine.

"Western Union transfers are very popular with PRAVEX-BANK. New rates allow to increase significantly operations volume between Russia and Ukraine. While convenient operating schedule of PRAVEX-BANK outlets will especially contribute to attract new customers to our bank", — commented Dmitriy Buts, Head of International money transfer business.
