•Is it possible to make a transfer using the Western Union system for $200 if I have no residency registration in my passport of a citizen of Ukraine?
You can make a money transfer without a residency registration in your passport, provided the transfer is made without opening a current account, i.e., if the transfer amount does not exceed the equivalent of UAH 15,000.00. If the transfer amount exceeds the equivalent of UAH 15,000.00, the availability of a residency registration in your passport will be a mandatory requirement!

Yes, you can. For this purpose, a current account will be opened for you free of charge. You will have to produce a document proving your identity and identification number (for residents), or a document proving your identity, and which confirms the legality of your stay on the territory of Ukraine (for non-residents).

No, you cannot. The family name in your passport must be the same as the one to which the money transfer was sent.
•How long can a money transfer be saved in the Western Union system?
Any transfer made using the Western Union system will be available for payment within 45 days of the date of remittance. At the expiration of this period, and in the event of a failure to receive the transfer, the latter will be placed into the Western Union archive. The transfer can be restored by both the point of remittance and point of payment. Any transfer can be restored within 5 minutes.
•I made a transfer using the Western Union system. For some reason, the remittee cannot receive the transfer (lost passport). Is it possible to re-register the transfer for another person?
To re-register a transfer for another person, you should:
- fill out an application specifying the transfer details, name and family name of the new remittee (in Latin lettering);
- produce the form based on which the transfer was made;
- produce an identity document.
